Boiled wool is stretchy in all directions making it a firm favourite for tightly fitted hose.

    I had a pair of XV century joined hose made to go with an arming doublet. The fit is excellent and unlike with some hose I have owned, I am able to squat and bend without fear of ripping any of the seams.

    I ordered these to use for Buhurt fighting…at first they were strange and I couldn’t tell if they fit right or how to even properly wear them. The team at Quiverstock was extremely helpful and professional every step of the way in helping me figure them out.

    After having used them all day at an event I can say they have exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. I live in Texas and they aren’t too hot, they aren’t itchy, the fit is PERFECT and extremely flattering. Never again will taking a piss in armor be a challenge with the codpiece addition on the later period style. Worth every penny, you’ll love them so much you need to get two pairs now so you don’t have to order a second set later.

    Note: If you order a pair with enclosed feet like I did, expect your shoe size to go up about 1 size to accomodate the additional material.
